The Cai Mep International Port (CMIT) has just set up two new achievements for the discharge capacity for Vietnam"s seaports. CMIT unloaded 2100 containers for the ship M/V "METTE MAERSK” of the Maersk Line fleet, with tonnage of 116,100, capable of carrying 9038 TEU within 11 hours and 30 minutes. The workable thickness is 183 moves / hour and efficiency of crane by 43 moves/ hour/ crane. Reportedly, CMIT has served 151 vessels landed for discharge of more than 351,000 TEU of goods imported and exported through Vietnam and the main commercial markets in North America, Europe and Asia.
