On 18-1, Technology & Science Council of the Province organized a committing to approvethe project, subject which will be implemented in 2013, Mr. Le Thanh Dung, Managed by Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

At the committing, Mr. Tran Tinh Huy, Planning Manager, Secretary of provincial Science Council reported the result of science research in 2012, besides Department of Science & Technology selected necessary projects, projects with high apply opportunities to implement in 2013. In 2012, Technology & Science Council approved the result of 6 projects, subjects in which 4 subjects and projects have good result such as: “Building red-bowel blue dragon growing in Xuyen Moc district like VietGAP”; “Building electronic information system model and popularize safety vegetables applied in Tan Hai coomunes, Tan Thanh district”; “Experimenting crab growing model in land pond and rice field of Dat Do district” and “Building database and geography map of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province”.

In 2013, the whole province has 93 subjects, projects to register the research, Department of Science & Technology organized 4 councils to consult and select proposals of 8 subjects, the project is submitted to science council for approval. Science Council of the province selected 7 subjects, projects to implement research in 2013 in which basic investigation and environment protection field, there is 1 subject; technology and information technology field, there is 1 subject; agriculture – Forest – Fish breeding field, there are 4 subjects/projects; 1 subject of human culture, medical, education field.
