Subject acceptance “Applying information technology in innovating methods of teaching and learning in secondary schools”

On May 24th, 2013, the Provincial Department of Science & Technology of Ba Ria – Vung Tau held Science Council to accept the subject “Applying Information Technology in innovating methods of teaching and learning in secondary schools in Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province on status and measure” headed by Ma. Nguyen Thanh Giang (Department of Education & Training).

On May 24th, 2013, the Provincial Department of Science & Technology of Ba Ria – Vung Tau held Science Council to accept the subject “Applying Information Technology in innovating methods of teaching and learning in secondary schools in Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province on status and measure” headed by Ma. Nguyen Thanh Giang (Department of Education & Training).

The purpose of subject is to build theory data, and evaluate status and propose measures of applying information technology in innovating methods of teaching and learning in secondary schools, to improve quality of teaching and management to meet requirements of social-economic conditions and international integration nowadays.

By research practice, it is shown that physical base at secondary schools is basically temporary to meet demand of using in management and teaching. Human resources of Information Technology is enough of quantity but quality is still weak to deploy applying Information Technology totally for all subjects and for all secondary schools. Secondary schools have met beginning results in applying Information Technology, but because of lack of methods, plans, therefore it does not satisfy results as expected. From then, the subject has built 10 specific measures, in conformity with policies of the government, Ministry of Education & Training and practical situation of the locality to improve effectiveness of applying information technology in innovating methods of teaching for secondary schools in the Province.
