On 5/9, 2014 Centre for Informatics, Science and Technology Information of Ba Ria - Vung Tau (under Department of Science and Technology) held a thematic report on "new technologies in pepper farming " by Dr.Nguyen Dang Nghia, Research Center for Southern Soils, Fertilizers & Environment. The thematic report attracted more than 150 participants who are farmers in communes of Chau Duc district.

On 5/9, 2014 Centre for Informatics, Science and Technology Information of Ba Ria - Vung Tau (under Department of Science and Technology) held a thematic report on "new technologies in pepper farming " by Dr.Nguyen Dang Nghia, Research Center for Southern Soils, Fertilizers & Environment. The thematic report attracted more than 150 participants who are farmers in communes of Chau Duc district.

In the seminar, farmers in the district heard Dr.Nguyen Dang Nghia’s presentation of contents related to the pepper planting technical such as characteristics of pepper;  frequently threatened disease of pepper existence, kinds and amount of fertilizers for pepper and answer questions how to use pesticides and pest control for protection and prevention of pest; specially methods to use manure to fertilize pepper plants. Dr.Nguyen Dang Nghia also reported application of new technologies in farming pepper, to obtain the highest yield.

The thematic report actually brought useful knowledge to the farmers in the district, farmers know more about technical problems of growing, sustainable care and disease prevention on pepper plants to increase crop yields, contributed to economic efficiency for the family.
