On 29 January, 2015 Sub-Directorate for
Standards, Metrology and Quality (Department of Science & Technology BR-VT)
held a conference to deploy, spread Circular 21 and relevant documents. Participants
included representatives of production units, importers, businesses of
circulation prepackaged goods, state units on measurement of Ba Ria-Vung Tau.
Reporter was Nguyen Ngoc Hue, lecturer of Professional Training Centre under
Department of Standards, Measurement, Quality.
Circular 21 regulating measurement towards
quantity of prepacked goods includes contents: Require measurement technique
towards quantity of prepacked goods; list of prepacked goods group 2; quantitative
seal; declare using quantitative seal on brand of prepacked goods group 1;
certifying enough conditions to use quantitative seal on brand of prepacked
goods group 2. This circular isn’t applied towards prepacked goods such as
medicine; preferential goods, exempted with customs procedures; temporary
imported goods; goods sent to bonded warehouse; goods made in Vietnam for foreign
businessmen; equipment imported to serve investment projects; goods to belong
to national secret field; goods to serve emergency requirement; goods to serve measurements
of defense and security field.
At the conference, guests were answered by reporters
on prepacked goods at their unit, the Conference brought a lot of practical
knowledge for enterprises; management offices concerned prepacked goods in Ba
Ria-Vung Tau province.
