On September 1^st, the Department of Science and Technology held an advisory Council to approve the project Acceptance of "Replication of the model for producing microbial organic fertilizer from agricultural byproducts at household level in the new rural communes in Xuyen Moc district". Engineer Trinh Thanh Hung - project leader and his team from the Center for Applied Science and Technology of Ba Ria – Vung Tau has carried out this research project. Mr. Mai Thanh Quang - Director of the Department of Science and Technology chaired the advisory Council

The project has contributed to reduce production costs of households by using manure and other agricultural byproducts to produce microbial organic fertilizers at lower cost than the market. Furthermore, it has helped to limit infectious sources, protect the environment and minimize the use of chemical fertilizers.

The Council evaluated the project as Good level and required the project leader to modify and supplement some contents to complete the project.
