Ba Ria - Vung Tau Canh Ty Spring Newspaper Association 2020

In the morning of January 14, the Spring Canh Ty Newspaper Association 2020 in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, the 22nd, with the theme “Ba Ria-Vung Tau Press continues to innovate and to create for the development of industrialization and modernization of the homeland and the country”, was organized by the Provincial Journalists Association in coordination with the Department of Information and Communications, at the Vung Tau City Library, took place at the library of Vung Tau.

Attending the open ceremony, there were Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Bui Chi Thanh - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Xinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Commission for Propaganda and Training; Mr. Tran Van Tuan - Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee and representatives from departments, agencies and branches of the province.

Spring Newspaper Association 2020 is held at 2 locations: Vung Tau City Library and Con Dao Cultural and Sport Center. The Spring Newspaper Association at Vung Tau City Library will close on January 20 while the Spring Newspaper Association in Con Dao District will be opened on January 16 and closed on January 27. After that, all publications on display at the Spring Canh Ty Newspaper Association will be awarded to officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard Command.

In particular, Vung Tau City Library is the main venue for this year's Spring Newspaper Association, including 7 galleries: overview of Vietnamese newspapers, Spring publications of national press agencies; the display area of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Newspaper; the display area of the Provincial Television and Radio Station; the display area of Journalist Magazine (Provincial Journalist Association); the exhibition area of the Provincial Literature and Arts Magazine; the exhibition space of the Provincial Library and the exhibition of newsletters, magazine of the departments, branches, unions and localities in the province.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Phan Duc Hien - Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Spring Canh Ty Newspaper Association 2020 said: “The Canh Ty Spring Newspaper Association 2020  is an occasion to celebrate the development of Vietnamese press in general and BR-VT  press in particular. At the same time, it also meets the needs of the public to enjoy the beauty of the Spring Newspaper publications published throughout the country on the occasion of Tet holiday. Every publication is always the quintessential product of each press agency. It is the result of creative labor of journalists, making the spring picture of BR-VT and the country press more beautiful”.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Tuan - Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the provincial press activities in the past year. Along with the national press, the BR-VT newspaper constantly improves and matures both in its form, content and quality, multidimensional and diverse. It also plays an important role on people’ life. The press agencies and the team of BR-VT journalists have shown their roles as a bridge between the Party, the State and the people and as the voice of the Party and the people's forum. “The press agencies should continue to promote the achieved results as well as overcome the limitations and weaknesses to bring the country's press to continue to developing; journalists are increasingly trusted by the people and has become a powerful team, assaulting on the front of the cultural and ideological areas, actively contributing to the country's renewal cause, for the rich, strong and democratic people , fair and civilized ", Mr. Tuan emphasized.

On the occasion of this event, Vung Tau City Library also presented 150 library cards to students in the city.
