In  April, 2008, the Provincial Science Council held a workshop to checked – up a project called: “study and develop a type of MICE tourist in Ba Ria – Vung Tau”. This project was headed by PhD Phung Duc Vinh, the Vice Rector of the Tourist College. Taken part in the workshop was Vice President of the PPC, Mr. Ho Van Nien.

After 15 months (from October 2006 to December 2007), studying group assessed tourist situation in the province; propose to develop the model of MICE tourist in tourist development strategy of Ba Ria – Vung Tau.

The PSC asked the head for adding social survey of the project and adjusting data analysis.
