On July 24, the Interdisciplinary Inspection Delegation of the Ministries of Industrial and Commercial, Finance, Planning and Investment came and worked with the provincial People’s Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau about power supply situation, and curtailment in the recent time.
Mr Tran Ngoc Thoi, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee welcomed the delegation.
In the meeting, Mr. Tran Ngoc Thoi said that the power-cut in constant schedule as current status which make production and business activities of the province to come to a standstill, social security face with many difficulties.
Meanwhile, Ba Ria - Vung Tau is a central of electricity production, industry central of the whole nation, but the apportion power does not have any priority. He requests EVN to allocate more power for Ba Ria - Vung Tau, simultaneously a stable power supply schedule in future which will maintain locality economic – society growth.
Mr. Nguyen Vu Quang, Vice Director of Electricity Regulation of Industry and Commerce Ministry, Inspection Delegation Leader acknowledged the comment of the province to propose to the Ministry in order to have a reasonable electricity regulation for the province.
