The conference was organized to exchange, share experiences of issues relating to fracture basement reservoir, strengthen cooperation among petroleum industry of Vietnam with other countries. At the conference, there were 38 science reports stated directly and about 50 reports printed in the collection of the conference.
These are research works of domestic and international specialists which mentioned many fields like tectonics, hydrogeologic and hydrodynamic models, structural basement reservoir ...and technological solutions to improve effectiveness of survey, exploration, production in fracture basement reservoir...
Apart from official seminars, the conference also organized activities of oil and gas exhibition; meetings to exchange information among PetroVietnam, Vietsovpetro Joint Venture with international partners under bipartite and multipartite forms; organize geological survey open-cast fracture basement at beaches Vung Tau – Long Hai – Binh Chau (Ba Ria – Vung Tau) and Ke Ga Cape (Mũi Kê Gà) – Ne Cape (Mũi Né) (Binh Thuan) from 10 to 13 September.
