Seminar: “Methods of Measure Management for packaged goods in accordance with the regulations”

On the day of 25 November 2008, The Branch of Standards, Measurements and Qualifications co-coordinated with the Technique Center 3 to organize a seminar “Methods of Measure Management for packaged goods in accordance with the regulations”. There were more than 70 representatives of production and trading packaged goods businesses, economic departments of districts in the provincial area attending the Seminar.

At the Seminar, the representatives listened to Mr. Do Viet Hung, an engineer of Technique Center 3, presented List of packaged goods which shall have to be managed by the State about the measurements, the regulations of measurement checking for packaged goods. There are 18 packaged goods which have to be managed by the State about the measurements including: agricultural goods and products; fertilizer; insecticides; animals foodstuff; milk and products from milk; aquatic products; cakes, jam, candy, sugar; beer, alcohol, soft drink, drinking-water; cooking oil; salt, seasoning, spice; fish sauce, sauce; soap, detergent, lubricant, liquid gas, paint, structural steel, cement, electric cables.

The representatives have been exchanged further information of measurement check, determination sequence of real quantity of packaged goods and frozen packaged goods… and questions that businesses may be met during the production process.
