At the seminar, Associated Prof. – Dr. Nguyen Van Phuoc, Director of Environment and Resources Institute assessed the actual state of observation and environmental quality happenings in Baria-Vungtau for the past time; forecasted the sources generating waste and affected areas by socio-economic development in the provincial areas: Introducing the environmental observation program to 2020.

In accordance with the assessment of the Institute of Environment and Resources, from now to the year of 2020, Baria-Vungtau shall have many changes of environment because of the development of industry, tourism, processing and aquaculture. Therefore, in order to protect the environment and develop strongly, the Province shall have to strengthen the planning work and environmental management. In order to make good this thing, it is necessary to have exact figures and information of the actual state as well as development tendency of the provincial natural environment based on observational results. The theme “Building up the program of environmental observation of Baria-Vungtau Province to 2020” shall provide many helpful data serving the environmental protection.
