The UK’s Sophos has announced the trend of spam in the second quarter of 2009. Accordingly, Vietnam is among the top 12 countries in the world for delivering spam, with 2.3 percent.

According to Sophos’ research, the US is the number-one source of spam in the world, accounting for 15.6 percent of the total. Brazil took the second position, replacing Russia.

However, Asia tops continents for producing spam, followed by Europe with 21 percent.

The list of 12 top countries for spam: the US (15.6%), Brazil (11.1%), Turkey (5.2%), India (5%), South Korea (4.7%), Poland (4.2%), China (4.1%), Spain (3.4%), Russia (3.2%), Italy (2.8%), Argentina (2.55%) and Vietnam (2.3%).
