On the date of July 2nd, 2009 the conference of preliminary wrap-up of stage 1 (2006 - 2009) the co-ordinate program between the Vietnam Farmers Association of Baria-Vungtau Province and the Provincial Department of Science and Technology has been conducted.

The co-ordinate contents between the Department of Science & Technology and Farmers Association including the implementation of the themes, the projects applying science and technology in agriculture such as: to produce the fruit crops which is in a position of strength in the province, building a model of green efficiency, managing production of safe vegetables by electronic information system, opening training courses of exploiting the scientific and technological information for civil servants of farmers association at all levels; managing, constructing the electronic information stations in the communes; providing scientific information publication.

This co-ordination has brought practical effects, changing positively the habits in production and business of farmers in the province.
