Baria-Vungtau won the first prize in Group C of the Youth Informatics Competition Festival nationwide

The 15th Youth Informatics Competition Festival nationwide was held by the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Ministry of Education - Training and Information Association of Vietnam has just ended.

The 15th Youth Informatics Competition Festival nationwide was held by the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Ministry of Education - Training and Information Association of Vietnam has just ended.

Taking park in the Competition Festival this time with 221 contestants from 49 provinces, cities and three branches in the whole country. 221 contestants were divided into four groups A, B, C, D in turn blocks for primary, secondary and high schools. The group D in particular for creative software is divided into three small groups corresponding to the three educational levels. After 3 days of competition, the Organization Board has awarded six first prizes, 14 second prizes and 31 third prizes to the teams which won higher prizes. Baria-Vungtau group including Vo Duy Anh and Nguyen Hoang Phuong (students of Le Quy Don High School) won the first prize of group C; Nguyen Vu Hoang (student of Vo Truong Toan Secondary School, Vungtau City) won the consolation prize of group B.

According to the Organization Board, the number of award-winning products this year has demonstrated ability and level of information technology of students. The subject test is not heavy on theory, but hightening applicability, creativity of the students participating in the competition.

On the occasion of celebrating 15 years of competition, the Secretariat of the Central Union awarded the commemorative medal "For the young generation" to 51 typical individuals who have contributed to the implementation of the competition
