eminar on investigation and evaluatement of toxic pollution in aquaticulture-products

On 6^th Aug., Department of Science & Technology held a seminar on theme: “Investigation and evaluatement of toxic pollution in aquaticulture-products. Building some measures to control aquaticulture-products in accordance with export standard”. This subject headed by Prof. Dr. Le Huy Ba a member of Academy of Science and Technology & Environmental Management.

The seminar attracted many representatives of departments such as: Department of Industry & Trade, Agriculture and Rural Development, Hochiminh Center for Quality of Agriculture and Forestry & Aquiculture (Area 4).

In this seminar delegates commented that in recent years, foodstuff safety & sanitation issue has been more serious, having negative effects on human health. Antibiotic surplus in exported seafood products not only has caused economic losses but also negative effects on enterprises’ prestige. Therefore, researching and applying this subject is practically meaningful, which helps provincial aquiculture sector be stable in long-term development.
