Tran Duy Tam Thanh (the Ba Ria _ Vung Tau Application Centre for Advancement of Science and Technology) and Dr Nguyen Van Khai (Advisory Centre for Efficiency Energy Use and Activating and Electrochemical Solutions)

On Feb 24, Provincial Science Committee organized a meeting to check and take over a theme “Studying and manufacturing of LED- energy saving lamps”, by co-authors Eng. Tran Duy Tam Thanh (the Ba Ria _ Vung Tau Application Centre for Advancement of Science and Technology) and Dr Nguyen Van Khai (Advisory Centre for Efficiency Energy Use and Activating and Electrochemical Solutions)

The main goal of the theme is to conduct a scientific research and manufacture of small capacity LED-energy saving lamps made from components of foreign importation together with ones of domestic manufacture, as the lights used in family activities, hotels, restaurants, livestock farms with electricity supplies  are 220-V, 12-V battery, 12-V solar battery. The theme content is to design a circuit used for 6 types of LED lamps using different power supplies, including two small capacity LEDs with 220-V electricity supply, two with 12-V battery power supply, one combined with ozone with 220-V electricity supply and the last with LED-based solar lighting system

  The committee has acknowledged authors’ serious working attitude of scientific research activities and analysed strengths, weaknesses and shortcomings that needs to be corrected to fulfill the research work. The theme is accepted.
