Announcing units which get National Quality award in 2012 of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province

On 1 March 2013, the provincial Department of Science & Technology of Ba Ria - Vung Tau released units which get National Quality award in 2012 of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.

National Quality award is prestigious one issued by Ministry of Science & Technology annually for typical enterprises in construction and building and applying quality management according to 7 criteria of national quality award.

Based on suggestion of Ministry of Science & Technology, Prime Minister made a decision to raise gold, silver award, national quality for 67 enterprises, in which national quality gold awards are gifted for 17 enterprises and silver awards are for 50 enterprises.

In 2012, in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, there are 4 units which reach awards. In which PV Shipyard gets gold award. Three companies get silver awards including: Hoa Sen Construction Materials Company Limited with one member, Thong Nhat Rubber JSC, Ba Ria Rubber Company Limited with one member. Also in this year, BUSADCO – Vietnam is honored to get the second award (Best in Class Award), International Asia Pacific Quality Award.

The ward is to respect, commend organizations, enterprises which reach excellent achievement on quality in production, business and service; raise position of products, goods and services of Vietnam.

Taking part in national quality award helps enterprises to learn, evaluate and improve total activities on management, product quality, leadership competence, business and production results. In the process of international economic integration, brand-name broadcast is indispensable, if reaching national quality award, enterprise can use the cup to respect or popularize brand-name for their enterprises to improve competitive ability on the market.
