On May 22nd, 2013, the Provincial Department of Informatics & Communication in cooperation with Media Joint Stock Company No. 1, held a Seminar “virtualization measure of information technology with IBM”

Taking part in the seminar includes more than 100 delegates who are representatives of Departments, authorities, cadres in charge at one-door sections of communes, wards, towns, districts, cities in the Province.

In the seminar, delegates have been introduced on measure of Viet progressive infrastructure for modern information technology system – IBM PureFlex System – also called storage system V7000- one of the best storage system nowadays; the way to access of PureFlex system; storage lines are supported for PureFlex system.

Basic functions of this system is as follows: Unify storage system, virtualization of storage system, auto-analysis, auto-installation. With IBM PureFlex System, investment to infrastructure for document storage, unit documents of units, offices, localities will be low, but highly  effective. It allows virtualization of current storage system and data not lost when moving system; Optimization of application productivity; better storage with real time pressing technology, reducing data size up to 80%; Storage productivity is improved up to 300%, processing productivity is higher than 30% in comparison with pre-decessing version.

Also through guiding the way to access, introducing functions of PureFlex system, members who are undertaking their tasks at one-door section will get more knowledge in administration, deploying add-ons of information technology to serve daily missions better, faster, safer.
