On June 28th, Department of Science & Technology held scientific council to approve the project “Apply solar electricity energy in combination with Led light to save light at Trần Hưng Đạo park, Vung Tau City”. Headed by Mr. Cao Phước Lộc and Mr. Trần Duy Tâm Thanh (Center for Applying Science & Technology in Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu province).

This is the project to produce testing based on the result of project “Research and manufacture saving lightning LED and apply solar energy”. Target and content of the project is to deploy policy of State on saving and applying recycleable energy, suitable with saving energy use Law and effectiness. Application of solar electricity energy in combination with LED light to brighten Tran Hug Dao park, Vung Tau City. Based on the result of the tested project, it will be multiplied to other parks on the provincial region of Ba Ria-Vung Tau and districts on the locality.

In the time of execution, researching team tested and used totally 123 LED lights to brignten garden, road and lawn, Trần Hưng Đạo statue with total capacity of 2025Wp . After more than one year of deploying the project. The result shows that, electrical expenses used for the whole park reduced 4 time (old lightning system consumped about 1000KWh/month, but LED lightning system only consumps 250Kwh).

Besides, staff and cadres of Lam Vien Cay Xanh have been trained and tranferred and maintained. Currently, solar electrivity system. Solar electricity is in good run, creating electricity for park lightning, contributing to save electricity pressure for electricity sector in the status of lack f electricity at the moment.

At the project acceptance, scientific council highly evaluated strengths of the project and agreed to approve it.
