On February 24, Mr. Nguyen Van Tho - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded the decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Nguyen Cong Danh - Deputy Head of the Economic - Budget Department, Provincial People's Council, as the Director of Department of Science and Technology.

According to Decision No. 339 / QD-UBND dated February 17, 2021, Mr. Nguyen Cong Danh holds the position of Director of Department of Science and Technology from February 22, 2021. The time of holding position is five years from the date of appointment.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Tho - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the capacity and quality of Mr. Nguyen Cong Danh. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee proposed that Mr. Nguyen Cong Danh in the new position continues to make efforts, strive with the collective of officials and employees of the Department of Science and Technology to successfully complete their assigned tasks.

Accordingly, the new Director of the Department of Science and Technology – Mr. Nguyen Cong Danh thanked and accepted the opinion of the provincial leaders. At the same time, he affirmed to continue striving with his best efforts, promoting solidarity with the collective of civil servants, officials and employees of the Department of Science and Technology, successfully completing all assigned tasks in next time.
