On June 19th, Department of Science & Technology organized a Selection Committee for the project “Establish the right, management and exploitation of collective mark Khot Cake Vung Tau" of Ba Ria Vung Tau by Dr. Dam Sao Mai as Project Manager, chaired unit is Institute of Biotechnology and Food Technology HCM. The chairman of Selection Committee is Mr.Nguyen Kim Truong, Deputy Director of Department of Science and Technology Ba Ria-Vung Tau.

On June 19th, Department of Science & Technology organized a Selection Committee for the project “Establish the right, management and exploitation of collective mark Khot Cake Vung Tau" of Ba Ria Vung Tau by Dr. Dam Sao Mai as Project Manager, chaired unit is Institute of Biotechnology and Food Technology HCM. The chairman of Selection Committee is Mr.Nguyen Kim Truong, Deputy Director of Department of Science and Technology Ba Ria-Vung Tau.  

Goal of project is to establish mechanism for protection, management and exploitation of a collective mark Khot cake Vung Tau to enhance value, reputation of Khot cake product collectively branded in the market. Guarantee the rights and legitimate interests of organizations and institutions as well as individual business households in producing, processing and trading Khot cake in Ba Ria-Vung Tau in the use of collective mark, against the infringement of rights. Contribute to ensuring the life for manufacturers and preserve and promote the economic, social and cultural values for Ba Ria-Vung Tau province. Time to implement project is 24 months (October/2014-October/2016), estimated cost is 1,285,425 VND.

According to Selection Committee, here is a feasible subject and agreed to implement. However, it should complete content as model of management and exploitation after certification, it also must have the investigation sample.
