On May 27, Department of Science &
Technology Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province held a conference inspecting the project
“replicating result of information technology application in management of the Vietnamese registration system in Ba Ria-Vung Tau
province”, headed by Do Huu Hien (Center for Application of Science &
Technology Progress) and also headed by Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dang
Thang (Provincial Police). Mr. Nguyen Kim Truong, Deputy Director of Department
of Science & Technology BR-VT province as Chairman of inspection
council.
Target of project is to
apply information technology to support administrative management on
population, household and managing objects in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province. On the
basis of the research results, and will expand for police of 6 districts /cities
belonging to provincial police to synchronize database of general population of
police sector on managing population, household and object.
The project has
achieved a lot of remarkable results, such as software using for managing population, household and
objects ..., database of general residents to support management, etc and results
of project will support implementation of administrative reform effectively in the field of managing population and households and
objects to shorten the inspection time and certifying registration for
people or formulation of appropriate administrative boundaries and population
scale and vocation during division process in the province.
Council members who
inspected the project highly appreciated its achievements, this is a big and
complex project and has highly practical scientific application. The Council unanimously
accepted the project at good level.
