Vietnam to have 19 IT focus areas by 2020 (05/08/2014)
Vietnam will have 19 Information Technology (IT) focus areas which are expected to produce high added value, according to a draft master plan on IT development until 2020 with a vision toward 2025.

2014 Department of Science & Technology BR-VT Province organized a subject
selection council on situation and measures to improve awareness of following
up traffic safety laws for the youth. Paticipants include presentations of Dr.Nguyen
Quynh Anh (Academy of Urban Learning – Binh Duong) and MA.Tran Van Mang (HCM
Communist Youth Union of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province). Mr.Mai Thanh Quang –

Vietnamese student finds security hole on Joomla (22/07/2014)
A Vietnamese student from Hanoi University of Technology has found a serious security hole on Joomla which may harm 600,000 websites worldwide, including many Vietnamese.

On June 27th, Department of Science & Technology Ba Ria-Vung Tau heard a report of project “Project on missions of acute gene sources protection of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province in period 2014-2020”. Time to implement is from 2014-2020. Its expenses is about 11 billion VND. Center for Application of Science & Technology Progress under Department of Science and Technology Ba Ria-Vung Tau is directly assigned to hold and implement it.
