The 5th Contest in celebration of The Vietnam Metrology Day 2015 (15/03/2015)

On March 6th 2015, The 5th The Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province held a Contest in celebration of the Vietnam Metrology Day 20/1 at the directorate’s office. Mr. Vuong Quang Can, Deputy Director of Ba Ria Vung Tau Department of Science and Technology started off the Contest by his opening speech. This year, there are five competing teams including The Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality of Ho Chi Minh City, Ben Tre, Tay Ninh, Ninh Thuan and Ba Ria Vung Tau province. Several other directorates such as those of Dong Nai, Khanh Hoa, Long An, Dong Thap and Kien Giang also joined the celebration as guests.

1,600 computers in Vietnam infected with CTBLocker (15/02/2015)

Bach Khoa Anti-virus Center (BKAV) last week reported that 1,600 computers in Vietnam had been  infected with CTBLocker, a dangerous ransomware infection that decrypts files on computers and displays a so-called ransom warning.
