On the afternoon of July 25, 1818, in Vung Tau City, the Union of Science and Technology Association of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province held a ceremony to launch the Club of Intellectuals and Entrepreneurs of the province. The event saw the presence of Mr. Hoang Van Quang - Deputy Head of the Department of Propaganda and Education – Provincial Party Committee, representatives of provincial departments, entrepreneurs and intellectuals.

The Intellectuals and Entrepreneurs Club is a voluntary, autonomous organization under the management of the Union of Science and Technology Association of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province. The club is formed in order to gather intellectuals and businessmen of the province for the purpose of exchanging and communicating knowledge and experience in management, business, technology, production and education. It aims to help connecting businesses, individuals and promoting business opportunities for members; to support promoting brands, products, services of members; to participate in advisory work for projects in and outside the province, thus supporting the development of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. Currently, there are more than 100 members in the club which is chaired by Associate Professor Hoang Van Quy - Vice President of the Union of Science and Technology.

The launch took place successfully in an atmosphere of unity and togetherness for the development of the club and each of the members.
