Conference on implementing the event "Ba Ria - Vung Tau Techconnect 2020" (17/10/2020)
On the morning
of October 8, the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province held a
conference to deploy the event “Ba Ria - Vung Tau Techconnect 2020” at the hall.
Mr. Tran Van Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Mr.
Ta Viet Dung - Director of State Agency for Technology Innovation co-chaired
the Conference. Attending the Conference, on the side of the Ministry of
Science and Technology, there were leaders of the State Agency for Technology
Innovation, the Department of Local Science and Technology Development, Agency
for Southern Affairs of Ministry of Science and Technology - Ministry of
Science and Technology. On the local side, there were leaders of the Department
of Science and Technology, leaders of departments, branches, localities and a
number of news agencies in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
BA RIA – VUNG TAU TECHCONNECT 2020 (02/10/2020)
In order to promote
technology transfer activities, application and commercialization of technological
research results to contribute to the development of the science and technology
market that serves enterprises in technological innovation, new product
development, and competitiveness enhancement in the province and the country.
The People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province in coordination with the
Ministry of Science and Technology will organize the event “Ba Ria - Vung Tau
Techconnect 2020”.
On August 20, 2020, the
Department of Science and Technology of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province and the Ba
Ria - Vung Tau University held "The signing ceremony of the cooperation
agreement between the Ba Ria - Vung Tau University and the Department of
Science and Technology for the period 2020-2025”.
Training on techniques for exploiting security holes and how to prevent them (17/07/2020)
On
July 13, the Center for Science and Technology Information and Application
(Department of Science and Technology) in collaboration with iSPACE College organized
a training course on techniques for exploiting security holes and how to
prevent them for network administrators of departments, branches, districts,
towns and cities of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
Conference on solutions to promote startup and innovation in BR-VT province (28/06/2020)
In the morning of June 24, at the
Provincial Conference Center, the Provincial Party Committee held a conference
on solutions to promote startup and innovation in BR-VT province to contribute
ideas to the Draft Political Report to the Seventh Provincial Party Congress,
term 2020-2025. Attending the conference, on the side of the provincial
leaders, there were Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the
Provincial Party Committee - Head of the Delegation of the National Assembly;
Mr. Le Ngoc Khanh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. On the
side of Department of Science and Technology, there was Mr. Mai Thanh Quang -
Director of Department of Science and Technology, and representatives of
leaders of Departments, Committees, Branches, People's Committees of districts,
towns and cities, business associations, experts and organizations supporting
startup and innovation within and outside the province.
On June 12, the
Department of Science and Technology organized an Advisory Council to evaluate
and accept the results of the implementation of the topic "Building programs
for the development of science and technology market of Ba Ria - Vung
Tau province to 2020 and orientation to 2025 ”. Chairman of the council is Mr.
Nguyen Kim Truong - Former Deputy Director of Department of Science and
Technology. The topic is chaired by MSc Nguyen Van Truc, the Center for Science
and Technology Information and Application is the host agency.
On the morning of June 9, at Vung Tau city,
Department of Science and Technology of BR-VT province coordinated with the Institute
of geophysics to organize a communication training to raise awareness about
prevention and lightning protection for the community of Vung Tau city. Attending
the training session, on the side of the Institute of geophysics, there were
PhD. Nguyen Xuan Anh - Director of Institute of geophysics - Lecturer of the class.
Towards the Department of Science and Technology, there is Mr. Do Huu Hien -
Deputy Director of Department of Science and Technology, and nearly 200
students who are representatives of the People's Committee of the wards of Vung
Tau City, Urban Management Division, Economic Department, Management Board of
tourist areas, resorts and businesses in Back Beach, Vung Tau City.
The topic "Assessing the current status of Dugong population and seagrass ecosystem in Con Dao" was selected (17/06/2020)
On June 1, Department of Science
and Technology organized an Advisory Council to select organizations and individuals
to implement the project "Assessing the current status of Dugong
population and seagrass ecosystem in Con Dao, proposing management and
conservation measures”. Chairman of the council is Mr. Do Huu Hien - Deputy
Director of Department of Science and Technology. There are three applications
for selection: Institute of Marine Environment and Resources, Center for
Conservation of Biodiversity and Endangered Species, South Research
Sub-Institute for Marine Fisheries.
The pilot production project “Building organic production models of VietGAP longan in Ba Ria – Vung Tau” was selected (17/06/2020)
On May 28, Department of Science
and Technology organized an Advisory Council to select the pilot production project:
Building organic production models of VietGAP longan in Ba Ria – Vung Tau.
Chairman of the council is Mr. Tran Duy Tam Thanh - Deputy Director of
Department of Science and Technology. The project is headed by MSc Chu Trung
Kien, the Institute of Agricultural Science for Southern Viet Nam is the lead
agency.
On May 22, the Department of Science and
Technology organized a Council to select the project “Building production
processes and rearing of triploid Pacific Hatchery Oyster (Crasostrea gigas) in
BR-VT from tetraploid male oysters imported”. Chairman of the council is Mr. Do
Huu Hien - Deputy Director of Department of Science and Technology. The project
is headed by Mr. Nguyen Cao Quy. Mollusca HQ Aquaculture Co., Ltd. is the lead
agency.
