On December 29, the Department of Science and Technology
organized a Advisory Council to evaluate and accept the results of the
implementation of the project “Building a model of production of leafy
vegetables and fruit vegetables certified VietGAP in Chau Pha commune,
Tan Thanh District, BR-VT Province ” with the aim of contributing to introduce
and deploy production according to VietGAP standards, improving productivity
and quality of leafy vegetables and fruit vegetables in Chau Pha commune, Tan
Thanh district, BR-VT province.
On the morning of December 11, the Department of Science and Technology
organized a Advisory Council to select the topic “Research, identifying the
causes of salinity and proposing solutions to limit impacts in the area of Bung
field, Phuoc Hoi commune, Dat Do district ”.
Closing Ceremony of the event "Connecting supply - demand for technology in Ba Ria - Vung Tau 2020" (10/12/2020)
On December 4, the event "Connecting supply - demand technology of Ba Ria - Vung Tau 2020" was officially closed with the closing ceremony taking place at Palace Hotel (Vung Tau City). Attending the the ceremony were Mr. Tran Van Tung - Deputy Minister of Science and Technology; Mr. Tran Van Tuan - Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; leaders of units under the Ministry of Science and Technology together with representatives of S&T organizations nationwide.

of Application Technology Application and Development (Ministry of Science and

Acceptance of project to rear Anguilla marmotara (03/12/2020)
On the morning of December 1, the
Department of Science and Technology accepted the project "Applying
science and technology, building a model for rearing Anguilla marmotara, breed
and trade achieved productivity and efficiency in BR-VT province " in Bong
Trang commune, Xuyen Moc district. The project is implemented by Viet Tam Nong
Company Limited.

On November 26, in Vung Tau City,
the Union of Science and Technology Associations in cooperation with the
Department of Education and Training, the Department of Science and Technology
and the Provincial Youth Union hold the Award Ceremony for the Innovation Contest
for Youth and Children 7th of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province in 2019-2020.
Conference on “Deploying the traceability system in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province” (03/11/2020)
In order to implement and apply
the traceability system as well as assess the current situation and propose
solutions for traceability management in the province and share experiences in
building and applying the current status of traceability system at enterprise,
on October 28, the Department of Science and Technology in coordination with
the National Numbering and Barcodes Center organized the conference on "Deploying
the traceability system in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province and sharing construction and
apply experience ". Attending the conference, on the side of the Department
of Science and Technology, there was Mr. Mai Thanh Quang - Director of the
Department of Science and Technology, on the side of the Center, there were Mr.
Bui Ba Chinh - Deputy Director in charge, along with representatives are
representatives of departments, branches; leaders of People's Committees of
districts and cities, leaders of institutes, universities, colleges,

Propaganda about radiation safety and recognition of signs of out of control radioactive sources in Vung Tau city (29/10/2020)
Implementing the direction in Document No.
5889/UBND-VP dated June 18, 2019 of the Provincial People's Committee, on
October 16, the Department of Science and Technology presided over and
coordinated with the People's Committee of Vung Tau City to organize the conference
“Propaganda about radiation safety and recognition of signs of out of
control radioactive sources in Vung Tau city”. Attending the conference, there were
Mr. Do Huu Hien - Deputy Director of Department of Science and Technology; Mr.
Dang Thanh Luong - former Deputy Director of the Agency for radiation and
nuclear safety, reporter at the Conference; with representatives of the
Provincial Police, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the
People's Committee of Vung Tau city and scrap trading establishments in Vung
Tau city.
Training on "Strengthening safety of radiation and medical irradiation in diagnostic imaging" (25/10/2020)
On October 16,
Center for Science and Technology Information and Application (Department of
Science and Technology of BR-VT province) held a training course on “Strengthening
safety of radiation and medical irradiation in diagnostic imaging”. Attending
the class, there was Mr. Dang Thanh
Luong - Former Deputy Director of the Department of Radiation Safety along with
more than 50 delegates are representatives of officers and employees who are
radiologists working directly with radiation in hospitals and medical centers
that use radiation equipment in the province.
