On May 18, 2023, the Department of Science and Technology of
Ba Ria - Vung Tau province successfully held a meeting to welcome Vietnam's
Science and Technology on May 18, 2023.
Meeting on the project of application of science and technology advances in the period of 2022-2026 in the province (18/05/2023)
On May 9, Mr. Dang Minh Thong,
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to listen
to the Department of Science and Technology and the Consulting Unit of the Sub-National
Institute of Agricultural Planning and Projection reporting on the project’s draft
"Application of science and technology advances in the period 2022-2026 in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province".
On the morning of April 29, the
People's Committee of Con Dao district held a launching ceremony to deploy the
project "Research and application of
circular economy model for sustainable socio-economic development of Con Dao
district" in the period of 2022- 2025, orientation to 2030.
On April 20, 2023, the Center for
Information and Application of Science and Technology - Department of Science
and Technology in collaboration with the Provincial Women's Union organized a
thematic report "Women of the
province Ba Ria - Vung Tau with Intellectual Property - Promoting creativity
and innovation”. Attending the report, there were Mr. Tran Giang Khue -
Head of Southern Representative Office - Intellectual Property Office of Viet
Nam as the main reporter, along with nearly 100 delegates and guests who are
members of the Women's Union in districts, towns and cities in the province.
On March 13, 2023, the Department of Science and Technology of BR-VT
province held a council to appraise and accept the results of making the
project “Application of science and technology advances in the period of
2022-2026 in the province of BR-VT”. The unit in charge of implementing the
project is the Center for Science and Technology Information and Application
(Department of Science and Technology), the consulting unit is the Sub-National
Institute of Agricultural Planning and Projection.
On February 23, the delegation of
departments of BR-VT province chaired by the Department of Science and
Technology had a meeting with PVU to discuss the proposed contents of
cooperation. Attending the meeting was Mr. Pham Quang Nhat, Director of
Department of Science and Technology; Mr. Phan Minh Quoc Binh, Rector of PVU and
representatives of departments including Department o Home Affairs, Department
of Construction, Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Planning and
Investment, Department of Education and Training, Department of Science and
Technology, Department Natural Resources and Environment.
On February 22, the Department of
Science and Technology collaborated with Sub-National Institute of Agricultural
Planning and Projection to organize the second seminar on the project
"Application of advanced science and technology in the period 2022-2026 in
Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. ". Attending and chairing the seminar was Mr.
Pham Quang Nhat - Director of Department of Science and Technology, Mr. Nguyen Trong Uyen - Former Director of the
Sub-National Institute of Agricultural Planning and Projection with the
participation of leaders of departments, cooperatives, enterprises and
production facilities in the province.
Advisory Council for technology evaluation of the Project “Seville Signature Vietnam Factory” (28/02/2023)
On February 15, 2023, the
Department of Science and Technology of BR-VT province held a meeting of the science
and technology Advisory Council to evaluate the technology of the project
"Seville Signature Vietnam Factory". Mr. Pham Quang Nhat - Director
of Department of Science and Technology - Chairman of the Council chaired the
meeting. Attending the the Council was also members of the Council and specialised
divisions of the Department.
The Fisheries Industry Innovation Final Contest in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province in 2022 (27/12/2022)
Following the success of the
Fisheries Industry Innovation Contest in 2020 and 2021, in the series of events
of the Techfest Ba Ria - Vung Tau , on December 16, 2022, the Department of
Science and Technology Technology chaired and coordinated with the Department
of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Vietnam Science and Technology
Business Startup Fund and with the support of the General Department of
Fisheries, Syenergy and development Viet company limited held the final and
awarded the contest in 2022.
Opening the Techfest Ba Ria - Vung Tau in 2022 (21/12/2022)
Following the direction of the People's Committee of Ba Ria
- Vung Tau province, on the morning of December 16, the Department of Science
and Technology of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province held the opening ceremony of the
"Techfest Ria - Vung Tau in 2022”.
