Science day tightens Vietnam-Germany sci-tech links (02/03/2017)
A “German Science Day” was
organised in Ho Chi Minh City on March 1 on the occasion of 20 years of
scientific-technological cooperation between Vietnam and Germany.
Department of Science and Technology Annual Employees Meeting of 2017 (08/02/2017)
On December 30th, the Department
of Science and Technology held the 2017 employees’ meeting with the
participation of more than 100 officers, employees and workers. The
meeting saw the presence of Mr. Mai Thanh Quang - Secretary of the Department
Party and Director of the Department and Mr. Nguyen Viet Dung - Chairman of the
Provincial Trade Union for government employees.
Conference "Evaluating Technology Readiness Level of manufactoring sector in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province in 2016" (08/02/2017)
On January 17th, the Department of Science and
Technology held a conference on “Evaluating Technology Readiness Level of
manufacturing sector in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province in 2016". Attending the
conference were Mr. Tran Hau Ngoc - Director of Vietnam Centre for Science and
Technology Evaluation, Ministry of Science and Technology, representative of
local government agencies and departments and private sector.
Online National Conference on “Science and Technology for Socio-Economic Development” (20/01/2017)
On the morning
of January 4th 2017, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Science and Technology held an
online national conference for summaring activities in 2016 and implementing
action plan in 2017 with the theme "Science and Technology for
Socio-Economic Development”. The online conference was set up at the
International Convention Center in Ha Noi and at 63 provinces and cities. Prime
Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended and chaired the online conference.
Conference studies cyber security in Vietnam (08/12/2016)
A conference focusing on the
need to establish groups to handle cyber security problems and maintain safe
cyber operations was held in Ho Chi Minh City December 6.
Acceptance of the project on “Developing pilot model for commercial farming of snub-nose pompano” (28/11/2016)
On October 28th, the Department of
Science and Technology held an advisory Council for acceptance assessment of
the project on “Developing pilot model for commercial farming of snub-nose
pompano (Trachinoutus Blochii Lascepède, 1801) in earthen pond at Long Son
commune, Vung Tau city, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province”. MSc. Le Thi Diu was the
project leader and the Center of Application Science and Technology Advances was assigned
to carry out this project. Mr. Mai Thanh Quang, Director of the Department of
Science and Technology chaired the advisory Council.
The selection of project “the GREEN HC waste treatment complex” (28/11/2016)
On November 11th, the Department of Science and
Technology held an advisory Council to assess technologies of “the GREEN HC
waste treatment complex project” in accordance with Article 9 of the Circular
No. 03/2016/TT-BKHCN dated March 20th 2016. The GREEN HC CO., LTD is investor.
Training on radiation safety, and radiation emergency response in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province. (27/11/2016)
In Oct 25-26, 2016, the Steering Committee
for Radiation Emergency Response of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province held a seminar on
radiation safety and radiation emergency response. Eng. Dinh Chi Hung – Vice
Director of the Center for non-destructive Evaluation and Mr. La Truong Giang –
Head of the Southern Office - Technical Support Center for Radiation Safety and
Emergency Response. Participating in the seminar were more than 70 participant
from the Radiation emergency response Steering Committee, representative of
provincial departments and agencies, district People’s Committee and major
medical centers in the province such as Ba Ria hospital, Le Loi hospital,
Vietsovpetro Medical center…
